THURSDAY GATHERING #61 Food & Climate
International Food Market Development & Export Support
Jul 9, 2026, 6:45 PM - 7:45 PM GMT+2
at Lexis, CIC Berlin, Lohmühlenstraße 65

The second panel will focus on international market development and export support. Together with international experts, we will explore how export promotion programs work in practice and how they can help food companies access new markets.

A special spotlight will be placed on the Import Promotion Desk, presented through a current cooperation example with the Ukraine Food Manufacturer Alliance. The panel will also include perspectives from the United States, Ireland and Denmark, offering insights into different approaches to market entry, ecosystem collaboration, and international business development. In addition, participants will gain insights into the work of Food Embassy, an agency specializing in culinary diplomacy and communications.

The session will provide a better understanding of how companies can prepare for international expansion, what support structures are available, and how partnerships can help connect local innovation ecosystems with global opportunities.
