On May 21st, during DeepTech Week Berlin, Unboxing The Future will host “Unboxing The Future of Politics” at Venture Café Berlin. A live talk show with perspectives from Berlin and international politics, political innovation, and technology.
Politics is everywhere. It shapes the cities we live in, the systems we depend on, the technologies we use, and the future we imagine. And yet, in everyday life, politics often feels far away: too complex, too slow, too closed, and too disconnected from the realities we experience.
At the same time, new political movements, civic initiatives, digital platforms, and technologies are trying to make politics more open, transparent, and engaging.
So why does the gap remain?
We will explore the space between political ambition and everyday reality.
Why do new ideas and platforms often struggle to change how politics is experienced in daily life?
What still works inside traditional politics and what needs to evolve?
And what role can technology play as a bridge, not as a magic solution?
